Before you can generate public links for your AI search responses, ensure your Google account meets these requirements:
Enable Search History: You must turn on your account’s Web & App Activity. If history and personalized recommendations are disabled, the option to share AI responses will be unavailable.
Personal Google Account: The feature requires a standard, personal Google account. It is generally restricted on managed Google Workspace or Workspace for Education accounts.

Generate an AI Response: Open the Google App and search for a topic to trigger an AI Overview, or tap AI Mode on the home screen to start a conversational query.
Tap Share: Scroll to the bottom of the generated AI text response and tap the Share icon.

Generate the Link: Locate the Share button at the base of the AI-powered search results.

Google tracks your shared interactions so you can retain complete control over what remains accessible to the public. If you want to review, reuse, or revoke access to your links, follow these steps:
Open History: Access AI Mode in your browser or Google app and tap AI Mode history at the top.
Manage Links: Tap More (the three-dot menu icon) and select Manage public links.
Execute Actions: From this dashboard, you can Reshare an existing active link, Delete a specific shared link to make it private again, or Delete all shared links at once to clear your public sharing history.
Note: Website content changes over time. Even if the live web pages referenced in your query update after you search, the AI response captured within your shared public link will display the content as it appeared at the time of your initial browse.
